Digital Print Files

These image files are our premium product and intended for printing up to A3 with appropriate software. The files are 9in x 6in at 300ppi, so 4.86 megapixels. The Event Photo proofs on this site are 'as taken' with just a minimum common adjustment. Our print files are individually adjusted and balanced for any or all of:

levels for density and contrast

curves and exposure for brightness

colour balance and saturation

sharpness

noise reduction

cropping to remove excess background

plus any other fine adjustments that may be required.

Some images require all this and more, some require only minimum adjustment, but all will require and be given some tweaking.

The purpose of this is to raise the nice photograph that was originally taken to a striking and eye-catching image fit for any purpose, be it an effective advertisement, a 'Thank You' to an breeder or as a cherished record of a loved horse. Our skills in this area have been developed over quite a few years and come as part of the package when you buy one of our digital print files

Digital Small Files

At 6in x 4in and 96ppi, these are much smaller files that are intended to be viewed on a monitor screen, not printed. So ideal for websites, email and Facebook. As with print files, each image is individually balanced and optimised to suit it's purpose.
